Hi Tim. I have two Schecter bass guitars -- a Stiletto Custom-4 and a Stiletto Extreme-4 -- but I joined this site because I'm thinking about buying a used Synyster Standard. As you can see from my profile photo, it is missing the tremolo plate. I don't want to buy it unless this plate is easy to replace, but I can't find Schecter parts anywhere. I only started playing the bass recently, and I know very little about guitars. I'm asking for your expert advice.

I have a Schecter strat. I think it is the scorcher. Serial # A 1887, I call it a red burst color,I would like to know as much as i can about it. I have had it about 20-25 years it has a split coil humbucker in the bridge position and two single coil P U. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

I remember while doing some Schecter info digging, I came across a spread done by Mike Molenda that I found pretty informative and also as a bit of a history lesson, it's worth reading if you have not checked it out before,
5/90 If by chance the heading is wrong let me know and I will check it again. Enjoy! Tommy Rocker.
